Time attack - 4th Oulton Park
With our commitment to the French Supercopa at Dijon Gerry went to Knockhill. Having never seen the track before and with limited track time he qualified 2nd. The final was extremely competitive with lap time decreaseing every lap, Gerry managed a fine 4th in the final. WELL DONE
DIJON - FR Supercopa
Another new track for both team and driver meant lots of work to do in testing and Free practice. A planned 2 lap run for qual left us in P1 and 1.2 quicker than the rest. Completeing the session in P1 0.3 quicker. We went into SUPERPOLE. deciding to set a time on used tyres on a two lap run, which placed us in P2. Race one -we led into T2 but the the top 10 went off on oil which finished our race. Race 2 we started in 23rd and with blistering pace we finished in 8th. Race three we was up to P4 by mid race when we got a tyre failure and retirement.
The weekend showed the great race pace and qualifying set up we have, but left without the points we were expecting and have dropped positions in the championship. Frustrating Weekend for both MAX GOFF and ZEST
New driver - New championship -
TIME ATTACK! and on the Podium
A new discipline for Zest and new driver, Gerry Atkinson. gerry has change vehicles for 2011, looking for reliability he purchased a ex Supercopa Leon. We just about had time to perp the car in time for Round 1 at Oulton Park. His first time in the car was Friday afternoon with a small amount of tracktime to get used to the DSG gearbox and driving the car on the lefthand side. Gerry improved throughout the practice and qualifying sessions, getting a better understanding of the car and its capabilities. The qualifying was solid with a 3rd and the race was only an improvment with a great 2nd
Excellent Job Gerry!
Late deal sees ZEST Run International Karting Star Max Goff
A very late deal would see Max Goff and Zest take on the French Supercopa. With zero testing the first round at lededon saw 2 out of three podiums for Max with a very strong and consistant performance. Negaro - round 2 was strong with a 4th in race one, unfortunatley was followed by a CV failuer in reace 2 whcih meant that race 3 would not be possible as they run back to back.
Congratulations to Gerry Atkinson for another dominate race winning weekend
Gerry was continually fastest in class by on average1.3 seconds throughout the weekend. showing the true potential of the SEAT LEON.

ZEST ENDURANCE TEAM NOW LOOKING AT DRIVERS FOR BARCELONA-BRITCAR AND DUBIA 24HR RACES
Zest are now looking for suitably funded drivers for their endurance team, to take on the mightly 24hr races. Their Seat Leon has proven competitve whereever it has raced and having supplied technical, trackside support and engine, supsension upgrades to other endurance teams over previous years - with a great amount of success it is no time to run a car in-house.
Interested drivers please contact us for more information and test dates

THE 2011 BRITCAR PRODUCTION GTN CHAMPIONSHIP
Podiums from the first race of the year
Zest again is providing support to the Supercopa Leon of father and Son - Mark and Peter Cunningham.
They purchased our power upgrade and technical support back in 2010, and showed potential early on of podiumds. It was not until some fundimantal reliability issues where rectified that the true potential was unleashed with an outright victory at the final round of 2010.
Moving into 2011 Zest has continued its support with the team, providing driver coaching aswell as race engineering and set up data. At the first round they took a contraversial outright and class win. They continued to show great pace since then, and are hungary for more power and performance. They intend to be take the next phase Zest power upgrade before the Spa round in June.

BPM Racing also have continued with Zest for raceday engineering and set up services. They have changed car to a Ginetta G50 for 2011, having lost their car to a fire in early 2011. The first race was a difficult one for everyone as they had bought the car just before the media day and had not had much time to get everything together. They started with a podium (3rd in class ) and a great start to the year, although they have alot or work to do to bring the car up to race winning condition
